Smart Notebook Interactive Math, Reading ELA, Science and Social Studies Lessons, Games and Activities

Teachers and students can use these Smart Board Smart Notebook lessons, games and activities to learn about Math, Reading ELA, Science and Social Studies. Most of the links are to websites that have a variety of Smart Notebook lessons.

The Smart Exchange – The Smart Exchange is a great place to locate lesson plans for use with a Smart Board and to connect with and to share with other teachers.  The searchable database is divided by subject and grade level to aid in finding the perfect activity for any classroom.

Longwood Smart Board Lessons – This site provides interactive whiteboard lessons created by the faculty at Longwood Central School District.  The lessons are divided by grade level for easy access to just the right lesson.

Scholastic – Great Activities and Games – Scholastic provides the perfect activities to use with any interactive whiteboard on this website.  Lessons are subdivided into categories:  Language Arts, Social Studies, Science & Math, and Learning Games and Teaching Tools.

Scholastic Earth Day Lessons – Interactive whiteboard lessons provided by Scholastic on this website are perfect to reinforce the concepts of reduce, reuse, and recycle to students of all ages.  These lessons have been created and tested in classrooms so they are ready for you to use.

Scholastic Math Notebook Lessons – Interactive whiteboard lessons created by teachers and for teachers are provided on this Scholastic website.  States of matter, perimeter, and area are just a few of the concepts ready for use in your classroom.

Lee Summit School District – This website created by the faculty and staff at Lee’s Summit School District provides links to many websites with interactive lessons.  In addition to the lessons, links are given to tutorials and resources to make an interactive whiteboard even more useful in your classroom.

Center School District – The Center School District created this website, Smart Board Templates.  The templates are categorized by grade level and provide ideas for many concepts covered in the curriculums at the various grade levels.  A section showing troubleshooting tips is included to make using the interactive smartboard a great experience for the students as well as the teacher.

Scholastic Lessons – Scholastic provides some useful activities for the interactive whiteboard.  Some of the topics include:  phonics, famous people, Earth Day, and Math and Science.
